Today 500line gives you some advice for a perfect restoration of the Fiat 500 seats.
To remove the front seats, simply lift the lever at the bottom and push the seat forward until it slides completely out of the guides; it will remain in your hands.
For the rear ones, simply unlatch the backrest with the strap and slide it out completely, while for the rear seat you need to remove a 6 mm nut on the right side and then it's yours.
Remove all the covers and foam until you are left with only the metal parts, clean them, restore the springs if they need to be replaced, remove the rust and paint if necessary. On the rear backrest you will need to remove all the springs because the padding supplied by 500line also acts as a spring.
